i have the bushwacker extend a fender and they still stick out a fairly good amount. spacers...ive heard they put a fairly good amount of stress on the wheel bearings...im not trying to shoot down all of your ideas im just trying to let u kno what ive researched when doing my truck. You dont want to end up paying more $$$ down the road

Yeah, I know what you mean. Thanks. I'm gonna try to tear away from work early today and run it by a body shop to see how much it would be. It might almost be cheaper to just put a bigger set of aftermarket wheels and tires on because I could sell mine for quite a bit...the tires are brand new Nitto's.

I believe so. I have actually been able to buff out the rubbed spots to where it's barely noticeable. Now I'm trying to track down a set of the factory trim pieces. I called a dealer, and he told me that they are only sold individually, but he could get me all four for about two grand!! Now I'm trying to find the best reproduction ones on eBay that'll cover the factory drill holes.

I just went outside an measured mine, you are correct, those are the factory holes. The lip moldings do not appear to be that big, but apparently they are!

Sorry about the misinformation.

Two grand!!!! wow that's awfully high, the Trim pieces can be found online for about $170 each, still pricey, but nowhere near two grand!!

If you can get me your bed size, I can get you the part numbers to narrow your search.

I bit the bullet and bought an aftermarket set of reproduction pieces off of eBay. I'm sure they'll work fine, and I'll probably come out ahead after I sell the flares I have on Craigslist.

They were the unpainted ones. The parts guy was laughing as he was telling me the price. It's amazing that it's come to the point where someone can ask $515 for a piece of plastic. It's making me think I should try to part out my pickup $100k!
