Default Headlights upgrade

Installed FX4/Lariat headlights on my 2011 XL. The truck definitely looks different.

Very nice! Now the lights actually blend with the truck, rather than stand out as an unintended focal point.

Those look really nice. Much more refined look than the stock lights.

I thought they were going to be the smoke colored lenses, like every 20 something year old (or still wishing to be a 20 something) has on their "blacked out" trucks.

Instead it is refinement of the OEM by only applying the blackout to outline the seperate lights within the headlight unit and the exterior of the unit. Very nice. They make any truck look better.

Now adding another item to the list of toys for my truck

I can't believe you paid a dealer $40 to do a job that takes 15 min.

I agree with this thought, which should have been spoken using the "inner voice".
It does look good and imo should be standard on all but white and silver F150s.

Looks good

Yeah, I know .... I could do it myself.. but I wanted them to check AIMING of the headlights. Never know how they come from the factory.

Yep, that white edging on the stock lights didn't look good on the dark blue truck. Same for the stock tail lights. That's why I changed all of them to the FORD blacked out option. I only used OEM parts. The headlights are the same they use on more expensive F150 models (Lariat? King Ranch?). Ford should give people an option of choosing the lights: I'd rather pay 200 bucks for a blacked-out option (if it was available) and get the truck look proper right from the start.

Now I have to change the photo on the left
