Headlight LED Strips
Your thoughts please, install them or leave them off??
I thought I get your input on these side emitting LED strips which for now I just slipped under the headlights just to see how they would look.
These strips are very thin and there is plenty of room under the headlight to install them. Once installed properly by removing the headlights, they would look pretty discreet.
However, I am still leaning towards not installing them.
These cool white strips have quite the blue hue, I think I would prefer the natural whites instead.

Moody Blue:
actually they may suit your blue truck just fine.
Anyway, they would be pretty easy to mount as they strips come with a adhesive backing. To do a good job, remove the headlight assy to install it properly. You could either mount them to the headlight or the base, but I would lean towards the headlight is it would be easier to remove, not sure if the adhesive will remove the paint also if mounted to the base.
As per wiring, just hook it up to your parking light wire right at the headlight assy.

Nop, these are not from autozone, got them from superbrightleds

I'd go for the white ones, but that's a pretty cool idea! They just seem a little too bright for me.
Anyways, get white. My buddy had blue LEDs on the front of his K5, had to replace them with white because it's illegal to have blue or red lights on the front of the car

Agreed! even though they are considered cool whites, they may as well call them blue, they do stand out quite a bit. Not worth the risk with the authorities.
Since I have not yet uncovered the adhesive backings on them, I will see if SBLeds will exchange them for the reg whites. Thanks for your input.

Looks pretty cool man! Definitely agree on going for the more white ones though. It'll look way better like that.
Notice the price difference? $30 vs $150. I'd go with the SuperBrightLED ones as well.
