Ok. For anyone that's interested , I have decided to take on a retrofit myself. I have decided on this kit . Just gotta choose shrouds and if I want to paint the housing or not. I also need to find another set of assemblies to do the project on.

I try explaining this to people who use HIDs in halogen reflectors on their motorcycle - not only do you lose usable light output, you blind oncoming traffic. Not exactly what you want to do when you're on a bike.
