Default Head Light Question/Help

2013 F150 reg cab XL

Now that I am driving to and from work in the dark I have really noticed my head lights really suck. There not very bright, I can even run with the high beams on and I don't get flashed by on coming traffic. Also, when I pull up to a red light, about 6-8 feet behind the vehicle in front of me. I don't even see my lights shining the there bumper.
Do i need to adjust the headlights and/or re-lamp? Or is this standard issue? What are my options?

I upgraded the bulbs shortly after I bought mine. Around $50 (Silvania Silverstar Ultras) on Amazon and is a nice upgrade since I do a lot of night driving.

I also drive back and forth to work in the dark about half of the month so i know what you mean. I had the Silvania Silverstar Ultras in my last truck and wasn't very impressed with them. Especially after having the hids in my 2013 i can say i will never go back to halogens. I know its a bit pricey to do them right but i also believe it is well worth it and will have them in every vehicle from now on.

Sylvania silver star bulbs are a step up from OEM but if you really want to see at night, upgrade to oem hid projectors. I did and the difference is AMAZING!!!

You should start by aiming your headlights. They might be aimed too low if you can drive with the brights on and not tick people off. (or you're meeting a lot of patient people) I think your manual explains how to do it pretty easily. I would then aim them just a bit higher then recommended.

Got some time and a little warmer weather. Looked at the manual for adjustment and looks easy enough. Also looked at the replacement bulb in the manual and its calling for a H13/9008. Now I'm going to pull a bulb and see whats in there.....
