I ordered mine end of july. Dealer told me it should be here late oct/early nov.

I didn't know the dealer was suppose to call you witht he vin number. They never mentioned this to me.

 

I just emailed the dealer just to get a quick update from them, they emailed me back within a few hours. Got my vin, build date, and delivery date, so I'm happy. According to the dealer it is being built the week of October 17th, and shipped to them the week of October 24th, so I guess that could mean I am in my truck possibly end of october or early november

 

Ordered a fully loaded Lariat EB SCREW 6.5 box on Aug 16...dealer said should be here towards the end of Oct.

 

Whats happens to your 2011 rebates if your order gets bumped to a 2012 model. In Ontario Ford offers employee pricing plus an add'l 2011 delivery discount of $6k on the FX4.
If you get bumped to a 2012 will you still get the 2011 discounts?

 

My dealer told me no, but I'd expect something out of good faith. With out a good faith transfer, I'd expect most buyers to be PO's and jump brands.

 

My dealer said no as well but they would work it out somehow. They also told me today all orders from the Sept first on would most likely be 12s.

 

Called the dealer today, still no VIN. Man, it's going to be a long month.

 

Confirmed today, no way to get an 11 now. They are going to build a 12 for me as dealer stock and hope its here by Nov.

I ordered my truck on 8/20/11 (Saturday), so the dealer probably placed the order on 8/22/11 (Monday). Technically I missed the due date by a couple of days, so I'm surprised it got accepted. I have to be the very last person to order a 2011 truck and not get bumped to a '12/.

Having already sold my Ranger, come winter, I'll be big time screwed if I get bumped to a 2012 as I'll having nothing to pull the sleds with.

 

I orderd F150screw lariat 5.0 in ingot silver somehow factory screwed up and built in ebony black..so I guess dealer is trying to locate one..so far no luck..pissed off..ordered august 26 truck is due oct 3 but wrong color.I want the silver...pip
