Glad it worked out. Did you have a torn cv boot or something else?

Yes, I had a torn outer CV boot on the passenger side. I installed an Autospring 2.5" level and I think I cut it on the lower control arm when I was trying to get the lower shock back into the mounting cutout. The metal edge of the mounting cutout is pretty sharp and all of the tugging and yanking cut the boot. I didn't realize it until I changed the oil and saw that grease had dripped out beneath the CV boot. I elected to change the whole CV half shaft rather than just try to replace the boot.
