I sent off for a new F150 brochure the other day. Ford emailed me a coupon for $750.00 for my purchase.

Only bad thing is that its good for 2 months from today. I'm going to purchase later unless the wife will let me go ahead and do it now. Do you think that ford would honor the coupon outside the date listed?

 

No. I know that from experience.
Seems like I always get one early in the year, and then never get another one until the following year.

 

As long as it's still close to the expiration date they should (at least my dealer did it for me). When I bought my Mustang earlier this year the $750 private cash offer was expired by two days and the dealer redeemed it with no issues.

 

I got one too. Says valid from 1/27/12- sometime in march. I took delivery on the 27th but didnt check my mail for a long time.....until today. Dealer hasnt turned in all paperwork to ford yet so they may still honor the $750 this far after. They will let me know tomorrow.

 

I got my coupon 6 months after I purchased the truck which was about 9 months after I sent for the brochure.

 

So it sounds like I'm SOL! Thats too bad. I sent Ford a reply seeing if they would extend the time limit. I have my fingers crossed but it doesn't sound good.

 

same with my wife's taurus. we got the money after we brought the car home!!!

 

From my own experience (I tried) and from weeks of internet research: Ford will not extend the coupon, and will not honor it after the expiration. I even read a case where the dealer accepted it and later wanted the money back because Ford rejected it.
Your best bet is to request a brochure again, if needed with a different address (your work address?) or under your wife's name. Good luck!
