Default is this a good price?

Hey i was looking into buying a 2013 ford f150 xlt supercrew with a 301A package i believe. with xlt package. and chrome package. its an ecoboost with rwd. and 3.15 gear ratio. Im not planning to tow anything just use as an everyday driver. the lowest i can get the truck was 29k. 34k out the door with 0 down. Wondering if its a good price for this truck and if the gear ratio is good. what do you guys think?

Hey man. I'm not sure if you should compare otd prices as that varies a lot from state to state. For example in dutchess county NY, I paid nearly 9.5 percent in taxes. Also you can register the vehicle yourself, but in NY if I want to drive on parkways I had to have the dealer register it with the unloaded curb weight. It also has no indication of what you pay in interest. Anyway...

My vehicle price after rebates before taxes/DMV was about 33.5k for a 2013 4x4 xlt screw 301a with a remote start (350 invoice for remote start).

If I did ford financing and lived in the south / south east I could have qualified for 2000 more in dealer rebates, but alas I don't.

Otd my truck was 38k with 33 financed at .89 for 72 mos. if you care about that number.

Hope it helps

yeah im in the bay area and tax for me is 9.75 percent. the truck was msrp at 40k and invoiced at 36k. If not including tax and licensing fee the truck came out to around 29k.

Seems about right to me generally you can get them a about 20-25% less than MSRP depending on the rebates at the time (in my experience)

Picking up FX4 today w 402a and nav and spray in bed liner..49.5 sticker, out the door for 35 (3500 trade) so 38.5k.
The price is what I wanted to pay. It Took walking away at 2 other dealers before I got it. And I didn't not even want the nav, it just happened to be in the one they found for me.
Just go in educated and be willing to walk.
