That's about the going rate for that truck with those miles. At 12 years old, maintenance is now more important than miles - make sure it drives well, floor it and let it run through a few gears to hear the revs and feel the shifts. Pre-emptively change out the serpentine belt and idler pulleys, the early 5.0s have a habit of busting the timing cover if one of the pulleys freezes up. Keep up with maintenance and change the oil frequently and it will last a long time. My 2011 5.0 has 286,000 on it and we're still purring along.
You purchased a 3 year old high end F150s for under $10k? In America?
Canada. Just picked up a 2013 FX4 5.0 last week for $7,000 with 79,000 miles. Granted it’s a super cab with cloth interior but the truck is mint.
Any American looking to buy a truck should highly consider flying up to Canada. Right off the bat you will receive roughly 35% off the vehicle price due to exchange rates. You only need one stupid letter which takes a couple of days to get and you drive across, duty free.
For $15,000 USD, I can find you a rust free full load truck with under 80,000 miles.
For those interested, here are the price trends from CarGurus on 2011-2014s since 2016. These are based on dealership sales. so that rockin' deal you got on a private sale isn't accounted for here, just what the average person would expect to pay when they're shopping dealers.
A '13 Platinum at a dealership in 2016 would have been $32k+. Getting one for under $10k is a wild aberration.

The guy has a new used truck every month it seems. There always some issue with them and he moves onto the next. You get what you pay for.
