Default Is this good, bad or about average?

Just drove 750 miles up through northern Wisconsin by lake Superior. The truck performed flawlessly.
2011 Scab, 4x4, 5.0, 3.55 gears. Just my wife and I in the truck. A lot of these miles were put on doing over 70 mph. I think the mpg's are pretty decent. You guys all getting similar results on long trips?
36 gallon tank is awesome on these long hikes.

I drove from west San Antonio to Austin doing 70 and got 22.6 MPG in my 2012 scab 3.7L V-6

I am very impressed with the fuel efficiency in my new truck, my old Ranger would be lucky to crack 20MPG on highway.

That's awesome! Is your truck 4x4 or a 2 wheeler?

I haven't taken mine on a trip yet but I consistently get 17.5 in my 5.0 with a mix of city/rural driving. Couldn't be happier with that kind of MPG in a truck.

It should only get better as it loosens up a bit. I know mine did.

That's exciting to hear. It's about to embark on a long trip to Madison, WI, and then pull a camper from there to the Apostle Islands National Park. We'll see how it performs on this trip.

I was just at the Apostle islands on Wednesday. A lot of nice sandy beaches up there. Lake Superior was a lot warmer than I thought it was going to be.
