Take a gander at my install, it retains almost all factory controls. :Gallery

Looks awesome yellow. You put a hell of a lot more work into your set up then I did that's for sure.... Is there a reason you off set the tablet a little to the drivers side on yours ?

Yeah, Samsung uses a weird connector which at the time didn't come in a L connector (not sure if it does now), or something small and low profile. and it also turns out that i am forced to use the stock Samsung cable otherwise the tablet wont use fast charge... its an issue on long trips where i use GPS, music, BT, etc. so i had to offset the tab in order to have the connector plugin.

plus its closer to me to use..haha

When i decide to make/add the presets on the dash.. i couldn't believe i just cut open a finished project. but i think it was worth it. It woulda been so much easier the first time.

During the re-build, i got pretty used to the Steering wheel/voice controls, but I find having the functions right there is very useful.

Is there a company that offers the metra style kit in the wood grain to match the lariat? I searched on line and read that metra did have a wood grain kit, but I was not able to find it anywhere. I don't think the black would loom good when the rest of the interior is trimmed in wood grain.
