Default Gear indicator

One thing that is different from the '11's and the '12's is the gear indicator on the dash is on all the time on the 2012's. I wish my was on all the time on my 2011.

It does. Mine is a Jan. build. After i had the PCM and Tranny flash - I was able to leave it on. Here's how - hit the "+" on the column - make sure the gear selection is visible - once you turn your truck off - it should stay on when you restart your truck. If however, you hit the "-" button - and turn off your truck - it will remain not visible until you hit the "+" again.

Hope it helps.

AH - okay - should have known that one. Do they not automatically turn on? On Canadian cars/trucks - they automatically turn on.

Mine is on all of the time. Tap the gear selector until on and then the gear indicator stays on.
