Can a regular 2wd supercrew fit in a 8X7 garage. Dumb question but I wanna see what you guys say.

8x7 garage door, or an 8x7 shed that you call a garage?

I'd say, no way BUT test drive one, bring it home and try it yourself.

I wanted a extended cab with short bed, I took one home and if I removed everything from the rear of my garage, It would *just* fit and close the overhead door. I ended up with standard cab, short bed. Very happy with the results.

Good luck..

Do you mean 8x7 garage door? I knoe mine is 8 high and it fits, pretty sure the width is 7 and it fits. Tight fit but it does go.

FYI I have a FX4 supercrew.

If that is the garage door size, it will be very tight. You will be folding mirrors in at the very least.

I'd be more concerned about the length of the truck than the height. The standard height of both the 2wd and 4wd trucks will fit into a standard garage as far as height goes. However, it's about 10" or so too long to fit in a garage. My 2005 FX4 w/ 35's fit just BARELY into my garage and my 2011 FX2 SC is about a foot longer due to the increased cabin room. Sadly it has to sit outside

Length wise a screw shortbed is just shy of 20'.

My truck fits with literally an inch in front and 2" in back.

My Screw with a 5.5' bed fits through a single wide door with the mirrors folded. Had to move it to the third bay due to lengthwise it wouldn't fit in the standard depth (20') two car side. Luckily my third bay is 24' deep.
This caused me to have to retrofit power folding mirrors so I could easily park in the garage.

If I had been smart I would have test parked the truck beforehand and moved up to a Platinum to get the power fold mirrors standard.

So, bottom line is, do like suggested above and take a test drive to your house to check out the fit before signing the papers. A lot of dealers will even let you keep a vehicle overnight if you test drive late in the day. This will let you check out other things like lighting, etc.
