Garage buttons

My Mustang has Cars2u in it, the truck is Homelink and works, the Mustang is actually what parks in the garage though so I still have the Remote in the Center console

I originally had a Car2U visor. Programed left button to work with my garage door. Went over to my daughters house and programmed the middle button to work with her garage door. when I got back home, it wouldn't open my door. Both doors use Genie openers.
Tried for several days to get it re-programmed but never could.
Happened across a used visor from an Explorer that had Homelink. Swapped it out with mine and have never had a problem since.
Here is a good write up on how to swap out Car2U with Homelink.

Weird how this happens, some work and others dont. Have all 3 of my buttons on my 13 programmed: my garage new (2 year old) liftmaster, MIL's older unknown name opener and sons newly installed opener by Overhead doors of Houston.

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem, but I have the homelink programmed in my 13 to work with my garage door opener and its worked for the past 4 months fine. Went to go home yesterday, pressed the homelink button, door didn't open. I had to go inside and use the wall mounted button in the garage. Same thing this morning when leaving. LED still lights up on the visor, just wondering if there is anything in particular that could be wrong or maybe just try to reset and relearn the opener?

The Liftmaster I have doesn't seem to want to interface with my 13 FX4 system it has. I gave up trying to make it work....
(But it does interface easily with my '16 Fusion and my wife's new car which both have Homelink.) Anyway, easier to just started using my phone app via myQ link for Liftmaster. Works like a charm when I'm in my truck.
