If I am not mistaken it is a Canadian version of the XLT.

Almost, it's XTR. XLT with the chrome package basically. LOL No clue what the FXR is.

Ah.. that explains why I couldn't find it on the all powerful Google... I knew it was something like that but couldn't recall 100%

It's just one of those strange things Ford sometimes does. Way back, just after dirt was made, Ford trucks were branded Mercury in Canada. Once in a while I'll see a restored one.

The FXR is just an FX4 that has been lifted and customized by Donnelly Ford in Ottawa.

The Canadian equivalent of the FTX by Tuscany, just not as Ugly.

i just purchased a 2013 ecoboost fx4. lots of miles on it. still drives awesome. feels like a new truck. great milage. wày better than a ram. paul g
