Thanks, did you need to replace the U-Bolts or was there enough thread to tighten them?

I took the blocks out on my 2010 FX4. The back is only about 1/2" higher than the front. Sits nice and I don't notice any difference in the ride or handling.

Just take the blocks out. No other changes need to be made.

Like most have already said you can just remove the factory blocks. However I went with the other route and got ground force 2in. drop shackles and it leveled the back perfectly.

Did you get any drive line vibrations from doing this? I have read that this can happen sometimes. I am looking at doing the same!

when lowering your truck's rear end, you may have to shim the drive shaft since you will be changing the pinion angle. if i put 500lbs in my truck, i get a vibration when i take off because the difference in the pinion angle.

Like mentioned above. It's hit or miss from truck to truck. Some don't and some do. It's another reason why I went with ground force since it comes with the shims incase you need them. However, I didn't need them.

This is a friends 2013 STX 4X4. I removed the factory block AND installed 2" drop shackles. Front is stock currently!
