That's pretty sweet but I think you should be able to get at least 1000 miles combined. How big is you fuel tank? I've gotten 710 miles out of one tank in my truck with 36gal tank.

Thinking about a CNG contain in the future as well, will largely depend on the affordable $500 home station that Eaton and GE are trying to develop with grant money since the infrastructure is so scarce. Any issues in the last few months? For the conversion I'm guessing they put in a nice type 3/4 composite tank, any reason why the type 1 steel tanks aren't used? They could save big money on conversion costs by using a steel tank instead of the composite ones. I mean if it is enclosed anyway I don't see weather being the reason. Looking at the cost for components, the tank is the most expensive one it seems.

No issues at all. I love the conversion for what I do. It's a commuter truck and a walk the talk type show piece for the oil industry. I don't have a home station because we have a private full station at the office. I think the composite tank is for highway regulations, but not 100% sure. I know the vehicle has to be marked with. Reflective CNG sticker to be in road compliance. The infrastructure for public fills is gaining a lot of weight, I was recently told that all the "Loves" gas stations are moving to CNG as well. Going to SA this weekend, so going to poke around and see what's new over there in the CNG world.

Was there a reason for using injectors over a fogger? Do you know if they work about the same?

Default FX4 Conversion

Got my 2013 FX4 converted a year ago... I've had nothing but trouble all year with it. Turns out ONLY on the 2012-2014 FX4 models you need a special mod for the fuel line. Glad to be near the end of my problems with this! Rakdaddy, did your installer already know about the special mod hardware? Thx

I've had not issues with the install at all. Nat-Gas here in Houston did a great job. I don't know the intricate details of the install other that the cosmetics that I asked the to work with. (Removed 12v on passenger side dash to put fuel gauge in its place)

Only issue I had was a dirty spout out something into the full line and it would pressure up, but Nat-G had it fixed on a drop in visit in less than an hour.

Good to go, although it's in the shop for a little mishap last month to the rear fender by someone else.
