Default Front bumper light bar.

I've got a 13 FX-4 and I'm THINKING about putting a light bar (NOT BRUSH GUARD) on the front with 4 (PREFERABLY) LED lights. I'm looking for some ideas, where to buy, prices, interior switch ideas, and DEF. PICTURES !!!! I will say I'd like the lights to be round and about the same size as a IPF extreme spot/driving light. I appreciate any input AND PICTURES in advance.

The offering from NFab is pretty simple and sweet. Low profile and doesn't break the bank. Has spots for 4 mounts across it. I had NFab's steps on my previous truck and was very happy with the quality.

Here's a link to their site:

It should. I wouldn't see a reason as to why I won't. Sits above the factory opening too as to not restrict any of that precious airflow Ford says we need.

The NFAB looks good but I thought I saw one on a Raptor that was a little beefier and even had Ford stamped into the mounting bracket???? Has anyone seen such a light bar??

So I'm looking at buying this but kinda scared. How could you prevent people from stealing your lights? Ya I know it would be hard with wiring but they could just cut the wires and steal them. Any ideas to prevent that ? And sorry that was supposed to be to MCdavis

On my 2011 F150 SuperCrew EcoBoost, I have Four Rigid Dually LED's on an N-Fab light bar. I didn't like the tab spacing on the N-Fab, so I made a custom mount for the Rigid's with some PIAA tubular mounts and some scrap angle aluminum. Eventually I'll get around to cutting off the extra tabs and cleaning it up.

I also added some high-output LED's on custom mounts behind the grille... Love the LED's. I'll never bother with HID or conventional driving lights again...

PS: The Smittybilt 130050 light bar is in fact an N-Fab. Identical in every way, right down to the N-Fab logos cut into the bar mounts... $119 on Amazon.

KC also makes a lightbar very similar to the NFab/Smitty, but a bit beefier and the tabs are reversed. Twice the price though...

As for wiring, I added a new relay behind the grille directly wired/fused to the battery, with the relay trigger coming from the high beam wire with a switched over-ride. I drive quite a bit in the mountains, and like being able to turn on and kill all the LED's just by switching the high beams on and off...

Also, since the LED's pull much less current than conventional driving lights, I can run all six LED lights and still pull less current than a pair of conventional lights...

No extra bars needed when you can mount directly on to truck!!
