Default Front bumper alteration?

I was looking through the "Finally a solution to the gaping hole in bumper" thread, and had this idea come to mind. I have an XLT with the 6-bar grille, and was thinking of buying another of these grilles to modify and continue the style into the bumper.

My question is... Would it be worth it, and does it look good?

Here's a quick photochop.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Mike

That looks sweet! Would be a nice change to the front end. Nice job on the photochop....

Too much chrome in my opinion, I feel like it just doesn't belong. Just my 2 cents. I love the color of the truck BTW.

(I figured it out, it looks to long.)

If the truck is black like mine then the chrome really pops and looks really nice, to each his own I guess.

When looking at JUST the bumper, that insert is immaculate looking. But when I take into consideration the entire front end... then to me its just too much. But like others have said, to each his own. Nice photo chop

I like it actually. Just a suggestion tho, How about on the bottom bumper instead of 2 bars going across JUST 1, and have that ONE centered (basically right in between the two but only 1 bar. I think it would break it up alittle better cause you have the chrome outline of the bumper too.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yeah, I wanted some opinions before I did anything. I will do the photochop at various angles to see how it looks. I may try the one bar look and see how that goes.

I can see that it looks too busy, but I'd like to see it in person to see for myself. I don't know. Does anyone have a 6-bar XLT grille they want to sell? I don't really care what the condition is...

Thanks,
Mike
