Default Forum doesn't "remember" me

Found nothing by searching first.

I belong to 3 other truck forums and have not trouble with those sites remembering me each time I visit. Here I have to always put in my user name and password each and everytime I visit. I always check the box that says remember me but that doesn't do anything.

Been a member here several years and this just started in the last two or three weeks. Like I said the other 3 forums and numerous sites where I have checked the remember me box are working fine.

Try this ...

http://www.howtogeek.com/62980/how-t...ber-passwords/

It's a Javascript function that you save as a bookmark in your browser and it will attempt to force the browser to save the form details. It doesn't work on every website, but it might be worth a shot here.

Good to know it wasn't just me. Some sort of glitch obviously.

It's happened to a lot of folks today. Not sure why but seems to be resolving itself.

I logged in earlier and it said I was banned for life....logged back in 5 mins later and it was fine. lol

I'll keep the "fix" suggestion in post #3 as a later option. From the replies, it isn't just me having a problem. I did update Java in the last week or so, but think I had the problem before the update.

Thanks for the replies and sorry to hear others have the same problem.
