Purchased a certain adapter that may or may not ship from Russia today; hopefully I can utilize it to get some more info in this thread. Looks like Livinitup is also going to start compiling some data for us 09-14 folks.
Awesome! Send me a pm when you get it and we can get this spreadsheet completed!
what is this special Russian hacker cable you speak of? Is this this a VCM II replacement? One that might let me change my VIDs?
It is a cable and a slightly different program. The one livinitup uses to load profiles. If you look at the 2015+ Forscan thread, livinitup just posted (https://www.f150forum.com/f118/forsc...7/#post5988819) that the program finally has profiles for 2009-2014 f150's and 2015+ f150's. It never did and livinitup was cross referencing with other vehicles to make the f150's spreadsheet.
It isn't expensive, but not really cheap either. AIrborne and I have both thought about purchasing it, but it would just be a "bonus" item for me and it wasn't in the books right now. First for me is my lift kit and fox 2.5" coilovers
But now that someone else is willing to purchase it, I can't wait as it maps out every digit in hex for a bunch of modules. They still need to be tested to make sure but at least now we will know what we should be looking for instead of changing something and looking for what changed.

What is a VID? I can check but without knowing what a VID is, I would bet you’d have to be pretty darn certain of what you needed to change if it did support it; it wouldn’t be a point and click type thing.
I have had a lot of success using FORSCAN on my 2015 and 2018 F-150s but I have no experience with 2011-2014 models.
My son has a 2014 Lariat with most options including folding mirrors. He wanted to know if anybody had been able to enable the so-called "Lincoln auto-fold" mode like we can do in the 2015+ trucks with folding mirrors?
I looked over the 2011-2014 spreadsheet that jdunk54nl had a link to in his sig but didn't see anything about mirrors and no tabs for the DDM and PDM at all.

That's why I'm posting the question.
Thanks.

Not possible, 09-14 don’t have modules to support this.

I think he's referring to the VIN or Vehicle Identification Number, Vehicle ID. Just spit balling though I have heard others describe it that way.
.
Well, I got my usb dongle today. I finally got a minute to install the drivers. Went without a hitch on Windows 10 64bit. The OS took care of all the driver installations. Went out to the truck and plugged it in with engine off, Forscan found it, and stepped me through everything. Came back inside, filled out the little form for the extended license, and loaded it into Forscan. So far, so good! Now, I'm going to read through a bunch of stuff again before messing with anything... of course, I'll back up my data first. This is going to be interesting.
