I HAVE read this thread, and made mods via forscan, but still can't quite figure this out. I'm sure I could have missed a post here and there.

1) The seatbelt reminder people keep talking about, is that just a different way to do the continuous-chime disable available to anyone with a user manual and a key? Or does it disable the 3-chimes when first starting the engine?

2) And the open door chime disable, I can't see that it changes anything. Which chime is it disabling?

I just work for a video game company and reprogram trucks in my spare time for fun. You don't need to be a nerd to qualify for this thread.

Keep on reading you only have 209 more page to read you might find it.
If after reading the remaining page, I would suggest that you ask your question one more time

Hi to all of you, I would like to thank all of you that contributed to this great tread 2805 post laid in 281 pages. This a lot of searching and try and miss on your trucks. I can't name you all so I will start with the most important to me witch is the tread starter Rnlcomp, Soaringfalcon for offering himself to make aspreadsheet but back out of it because he didn't want to hurt any ones feelings, and Jdunk54nl for the spreadsheet that he came up with.

You guys have angel patient to deal with person that where asking the same question that have been asked and answered over and over and over again.

Just to name few:
WitchELM327 did you buy , will this one work, can Forscan be use to do…, PAT keys, how to update your odometer, DTRL, is Forscan extended license is required to make changes, can I make changes with my phone.

Why can’t people start reading from the first page to the last one and after if they have trouble with a certain operation then ask questions, for myself I have read all the post and when I came up with something that I might need more info I took notes of the page and post #.

From what I can see people just chime in the middle of a tread and think that they are in an open bar and call for an answer, by the way, just in case you didn’t know, there is a search engine in each tread

Ahhh..someone who is motivated to learn.

In all seriousness though, I am generally ok with people asking questions on how to do something. But a lot don't even know how to use forscan so they clearly have not bothered to even look at Livinitup's amazing how to page WITH VIDEOS....that I felt I made super clear in the spreadsheet. Maybe I need to increase the font even more?

If you set the forum to display more messages per page, we have just gone onto page 71. (nerd alert)
