Default Forscan

I know there a bunch of thread out there. I am looking for some help on what adapter works best for the 2012. I bought the USB OHP ELM3227. I updated driver and can't seem to get it to work. Everytime I try to connect on forscan it says no ELM found. Not sure if I got a bar adapter or the wrong one but any type of help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Try flipping the switch the other way. They have been known to be wired wrong.

I use Windows 10 Home on a laptop with the VEEPEAK OBDCheck MS gateway device. USB and OBD connectors.

Here is the adapter I purchased:
Amazon Amazon

It worked fantastic; and never had any connectivity issues.
