Only two devices are "guaranteed" to work. All others are hit and miss with a lot being miss. Don't try and cheap out on this. You are changing things on a $20k+ vehicle and if you loose connection or something during write procedure it could mess up your module. I use the bluetooth one and have never had any issues.

I am pretty computer literate though. If you don't know how to save files, locate files, or use windows explorer then you should not do this. If you can do those things then it should be fairly easy if you get one of those adapters.

I am fairly computer literate.

I will just have to read through that thread and make sure it is a route I want to take. I like having the ability to modify things but is it worth the money invested..
