Default Ford mud flaps

I was looking at the ford Mud flaps for my truck but I was wondering if there was any drilling needed to mount them.

The black plastic ones with the Ford logo have screws involved with the installation.

No drilling required on Ford oem flaps. I installed mine (2010) w/ no problem or drilling.

Did you have to take the tires off to install them

I didn't. You need a short 7 mm socket (don't know if the screws are metric or not but a 7 mm fits perfect) and I just turned the front wheels for better access. The backs are a little tight getting to and removing the wheels would make it simple but I did it w/the wheels on no problem. The flaps fit perfect and should offer some protection from rock chips (altho I personally think the truck looks better w/out them)

How many holes are used to mount them, 2 or 3?

Interesting.... I had Ford ones from the dealer that required drilling, so took them back and was goingto get the Weathertech no-drill ones instead. But now it apppears Ford do a no-drill flap.

Do you have any info on these please?
