I got the factory ford remote start on my 2010. I have the separate fob and it works great.

I have a 2012 and I installed the ford remote start (and got it activated). No problems yet.

My 2011 works perfectly since new... build date 11/10, bought 2/11, 35,000 miles.

I use it 90% of the time.

I don't recall which aftermarket one my brother had installed in his Tundra but he can start it from his iPhone from anywhere and tell where the truck is using the GPS built into the truck. That will be the one I get on my next truck.

Mine works great on my 2012.

I have the Ford plug & play long range remote start in my 2012 and it works prefectly fine.
