No bro, he is talking about adding power folding mirrors, the ones that truck in tight to make your truck narrower for parking and more

I want to do this to my truck but I want the tow mirrors instead. Does anyone know the part number for these mirrors?

You need to read through this thread: PowerFold Tow Mirrors

What you want are the '13-14 PowerScope Tow Mirrors with power telescoping and folding. Although the power folding aspect can be implemented similarly as described in this thread, the power telescoping function is NOT plug-n-play. As such, some have skipped wiring up the 'scoping feature. An OEM setup would require cutting a hole on the sill of the door panel and running a pair of wires between both doors.

Just be prepared to burn a huge hole in your wallet: a pair of used OEM PowerScopes typically run well over $1K, plus add a pair of switches and seat module (for non-power folding target vehicles); an all-new system will cost up to $2K.

A cheaper option is the 1A Auto Power Folding Tow Mirrors for about $500 a set, but I believe they don't have any power telescoping options.

I have the OEM PowerScope on my To Do list that I hopefully can budget this year or early next.

Not that I am aware of Thomas. Some of the wiring is a little bit of a pain, but worth it if you want to make it loom clean. The connector diagrams are all on here. If you have any questions on how to do the wiring just ask.

Default Power Fold Mirrors

I have a 2013 F150 Lariat which came with memory seats but no power fold. I upgraded to OEM PowerScope mirrors with power fold and power telescope. Plugged everything in. Power fold did not work. I verified that the DSM my truck had was the same part number as the ones that come with power fold mirrors. I scheduled an appointment with local Fords Service Department to have them reprogram the DSM as-build. As expected, their technician did not know how to do it, so he reached out to the hotline and they said it's not possible to do. I requested to meet with the technician before I took back the truck.

That night, I created a step-by-step guide, which consists of all the research I did online, on what the technician needs to do to flash the as-build data in the DSM. I printed it out and gave the technician. They were able to do to it and now my truck has power fold mirrors! Now i'm going to run some wires to get the power telescoping to work.

Hopefully this guide will help any you guys when you go to the service departments to flash the DSM. If you have memory seats, then this can be done.

Good job Yaro! Saw your post - and glad you were able to get the DSM corrected. Hope you like the mirrors. You have a good looking truck.

Just bought me a set of Powerfolds from a 14" Platinum to go on my 14' XLT. From what I can gather and piece together from this thread (its all over the place), I need to:

1) Buy the PowerFold switch and replace mine with it.
2) Pull the plugs and check the pinouts to see if mine is prewired for them.
3) If not, run a few sets of wires here and there (thats where im lost)
4) Done

-OR-

Buy control modules, switch, etc.....and have Ford run as builts of truck that came with them.

As popular as this is, it really needs a proper "How-To". This thread is all over the place and will make your head spin
