I agree..... using a relay would be the easiest route to go here. Use the high beam signal to trigger the relay coil, and then send the relay output to the fig lights. HOWEVER..... be sure to diode-isolate the fog light wire, so that you are ONLY providing the power to the lamp itself, and not back to the PCM. The wiring on these new trucks is much more complicated/sensitive than older models.
Just to be safe, I would use a separate relay for each side of the truck as well. This way if there is a problem on either side, it will stay independent of the other, and you will maintain "half" of your lighting.

I'm not arguing with u, but in all honesty, it's just easier, safer, and useful if you just get another pair - and have them on an entirely separate circuit.
That's what I did, and would do again.
