Fog lights on with bright lights.

Hopefully someone more electrically inclined will chirp in. You would probably have to run a new wire to the fogs and keep it with constant power on a switch.

The "Bambi Mod" is for 04-08 trucks. Ford redesigned the electrical system on the newer trucks so the trick of grounding out a lead on the relay doesn't work.

That's correct.
On the new trucks the smart box would be the workaround. BUT - that's just not an option.
Your best bet is to get some auxiliary lights - or rewire the existing fogs.

Regarding the ebay item you found. Funny how they offer the same thing on their website for 14.99.

They seem to go out of their way to NOT provide any details about the kit. Looks questionable to me.

Many, many people have discovered over the years that over-riding the factory set-up to run fogs and high-beams together has caused big problems. The thin factory wiring and the switch itself is far too small a guage to run that much current through without csusing them to fsil prematurely.
Rewire the fogs, or run some relays is the right way to do it.

They tell you where they are and offer installation for cheap.
Could be they don't provide any pics of it so people don't simply make their own...?
You're right about the price difference though...That's mighty bull-sh*tty of them
