Default FOB issues

Hello, hoping to find some help.
2011 Ford f150 stx v6.
My fob works 1 in 10 times, changed the FOB battery. Tested my truck battery always 14volts running, 15 Volts if I turn my lights on.
No aftermarket Bluetooth.
The fact that it works intermittently...grrrr,
I am pulling my hair out!!

Do you have anything plugged into the 12v ports?

Did you upgrade the cargo lights on the back of the cab above the rear glass with LED bulbs? Sometimes those LED bulbs cause interference.

No upgrades to lighting. The FOB locked twice yesterday like normal but then wouldn't unlock...

So sporadic and frustrating

Always in the same place, such as 1 in 10 attempts at your house/workplace or 1 in10 regardless of location?

Doesn't matter where, sometimes it goes 3-4 days with nothing, then works once.
I travel in a 2hr radius frequently, there no pattern, temp or moisture (raining etc)

I mean...you could need a new fob. I have the 2 originals, one has barely ever worked. Still haven't replaced it, mainly just use the one that does.

I can post the link to some inexpensive fobs which I use for my 2012. they're less than $10 for 2 including shipping and batteries. And then you can program them in yourself.

these are self contained fob only, no key.
