Default Flashers and remote start not working.

Hey everyone I'm looking on here for help since I can't seem to get it figured out. I read through the manual and online a good bit before posting. I have a 2014 F150 with factory remote start tha has never given me an issue before until now. I have no check engine trouble codes, hood is closed and doors are all closed several times to be sure. I checked every fuse under the hood and found nothing blown. The flashers on the lights and mirrors work when unlocking but not when locking. I used to hit is twice and it would flash and honk once but now it's honking twice and no flash along with no remote start. Any ideas? I even tried to disconnect the positive side of the battery and that never worked either.

I think it does a double honk if a door is open. Faulty switch or wire perhaps?

Check the hood switch and its connections.

I unhooked it and re connected the hood switch and worked it up and down a few times. Still honking twice and no flash. It will also honk twice with the door open

No door open signal? Like dome light on. Does it actually lock the vehicle up? If not find the one that's not locking, probably a latch. Do you have a second key fob? Try it out. If it's the same it's doors, hood or module. Narrow down trying both keys to see if specific door isn't locking.

I guess these trucks have random issues with this. I just went out again to check the hood switch and made sure it was bent up making good contact with the hood. Went into the menu and turned on quiet start then back off to see if it was stuck or something. Starts right now and works perfect again🤔

It was actually locking the doors but not flashing the lights like before and also no remote start. I think the computer was stuck with a setting or something because after I took it off quiet start and fooled with the hood sensor again it works perfect again

Most likely the hood switch is the issue, there's been a lot of people having problems with it my self included.
