I have finally placed my order for a Black FX4 loaded crew cab and I can't hardly wait. This will be my first ever brand new vehicle. I've bought nothing but Chevy until I saw the Ecoboost videos and peaked my interest. Test drove one and I was hooked. Have trolled these forums the past few months reading up on things. I test drove a GMC Denali last night just to be certain, and even the Denali just felt sort of cheap compared to the Ford. So I called up the Ford Dealer today to get the order done.

So I just wanted to say Hello, and thank you to all the people I've PM'd on the side bombarding them with questions.

Right on! I'm in the same boat as you im waiting for my first ford had a 09 silverado and I to went with the fx4 crew fully loaded. Ordered it 3 weeks ago and just found out it was built 2 days ago so now I'm really anxious to get it. Like you say gm just feels sort of cheap compared to the ford!

 

What color did you go with Goody? I came so close on the Sterling Grey, I was about 2 blocks from home and saw my first Sterling FX4 in person and almost tempted me. But i stuck to my guns and went black.

 

I Ordered sterling grey. I was on the fence with black but decided I really liked sterling grey so went with it.

 

I got the sterling gray and never regretted it. But, I admit that Black looks great too.
