Default Finding out my keypad code

Hello all!! My brother in law has just purchased a 2011 F-150 Lariat. Beautiful truck might I add. Well he brought it over and showed me today and was asking a bunch of questions. He doesn't know his keypad code for his door buttons. How can we get this? Any info is greatly appreciated!

It should be a card in the manual book...blue and white with a code and instructions on how to change it.

If the hard card isn't in glove box or owner manual then I only know the dealer can pull it put using there scan tool.

Pull the trim piece off of the passenger side kick panel in the floor. There's a box mounted to the truck and the code is on the back of it. It's hard to see, but look closely and you'll see it.

Default Keypad Code

OR... assign your own code. I was told by the dealer the procedure is outlined in the manual, but the salesman walked me through inputting my own 5-digit code right there in the lot when I took delivery. Sorry, I don't remember the specifics but I do remember it was quick and easy.

P.S. The original factory-assigned code will still work even after you assign a new code, but the factory code was too hard to remember so I used the code from my previous Ford.

You have to have the factory code to program in a new code.
