Yes.... the lines come from the camera. And no..... alignment was very easy. Basically the camera was aligned in the housing. So I just lined it up for up/down. After it was tested, I used a little silicone around the camera for moisture and to ensure it didn't move.

Can't say about low light yet. I haven't tested it. But for me that wasn't/isn't a big concern. Basically I just wanted it for backing into my travel trailer. But when I check, I will let you know.

The only thing I am not 100% pleased with is the camera placement kinda puts the camera "in your face" a little. It would have been better if the overhead had a drop down a little closer to the windshield. It not that bad, but would have been better.

Other than that, I am very pleased with the outcome.

And thanx to all for the positive comments....

Great job. I pretty much have the identical setup.

you think it would be possible to hook up two of these cameras to one monitor? one for the front, one for the back? and just a switch to flip back and forth?

Definately..... The camera has 2 inputs. It will auto switch to input #2 when video signal is applied to it.

Cool, this brings me to another question. I see you are using it to back into your trailer which is what I use mine for also, I have mine mounted low with a license plate bracket camera and it is perfect to see the hitch and ball as I back, can you still see your ball as you are backing?

I love your install and it looks way cleaner than the bracket camera I have so I ordered the camera but now thinking of trying to mount it lower.

Thanks for you answers.

I haven't put my hitch on yet. So I can't say if I can see the hitch yet. But I still have a lot of swing left in the camera. So if I can't see the hitch just yet, I can swing my camera down more and will definately be able to view it.

I have seen others here mount it in the bumper. That would be easier for running cables. But I was thinking about road dirt. Just thinking the lens would stay cleaner if mounted higher. But time will tell on that.
