Well, I started this thread, so you can go to post #1 and see my setup. But my thoughts on my install are mostly very positive. My setup has little to no "Turn On" delay as some here have experienced. Viewing is great making it very functional for backing into a trailer hitch....less arguing with wife.... only issue is night vision. My camera is not great in low light. I can seill see fairly well, but still looks very grainy at night. I think brighter reverse liughts would help tremendously. Just haven't changed them yet.

But for what it costed me...$38 total. I think I have a great setup

Good deal. The only reason I need this is for backing up to a trailer hitch. I'm tired of having to get in and out like 5 times. This should solve my problem. Will be ordering the parts today. Thanks a lot!

Overall I am happy with my set up. Lights for the back would definetly be better. I do have a slight delay in mine, and i would like to relocate my front camera, maybe when it gets a little nicer out. I just laugh when I think about the dealer cost for a factory jobber.

So, I started late this afternoon and I've got the camera mounted and wire run into the cab, but I'm having trouble fishing the wire to the overhead sunglass area.

I started from the sunglass part with a coat hanger trying to get it to the back where I can tape the wire and pull it back through, but haven't had any success. Also, did you run a power wire for the monitor all the way to the back into the reverse light power too? I believe I've got it figured out, just got to get a role of wire and get it through the headliner.

Last question, I've cut out that first sunglass holder just like you did it. How did you secure the monitor in there tho? I haven't decided what is going to be the best way to do this.

Thanks man!

I think I've
