I got it matched. Dealer wanted 400 and got it matched for 150 at a local place.

Do you think you could use mud flaps? Or do these flares take care of that?
I currently have mud flaps and it looks like they will have to go if I decide on fender flares.

Maybe. Depends on how they are mounted really. But the flares go around all the way to the end of the fenders. So really mud flaps would be a mute point. I personally wouldnt run mud flaps with these and probably be a pain anyway to get them to fit. Hope this helps.

I guess it all depends on how much they taper in. If need be I suppose flat universal mud flaps can be mounted, but that might look bad.

removed my stock grey wheel lip moldings for painted flares, bought off e-bay for $275 plus shipping, came with new hardware. They came off a brans new truck so I was told. I installed Ford molded mud flaps because I dont like the flat, rectangular ones. Ford does offer with or without wheel lip moldings for the molded mud flaps. The white flares look great lvrkight6481.

Crew Man, are those Ford fender flares, or aftermarket? Also, how much to they stick out? I've been looking at EGR OEM flares and they claim they stick out 1.5", so I don't think the Ford flares designed for a truck with the factory molding will fit.

Looking at the two trucks in this thread it clear to me that painting the fender flares is the best way to go.

Hey fishhawk, check out bushwackers. They have a new set of pocket style with the bolt on look that r 1.5". I got them, ptm, but no pics yet. Covers up my 305/55r20 tires perfectly. That might suit u well too. I priced the egr's, lol, thought bushwackers were expensive. I think the guy on this forum for egr quoted me $560 or so. Wow.

Agree. I have those and they really work well with my 305/55/20's. Will take some pics *** soon as I wash my truck.

I'm trying to stay away from drilling, if possible. And from what I'm seeing, EGR's are the only fender flares that claim to be "no drill". I also want more of an OEM look similar to Crew Mans truck. I was quoted $395 for the EGR from a retailer in my area, which for four pieces of plastic is nuts, IMO. The cheapest I've seen online is $359.
