Favorite wax?
For many years (30+) I have been a die-hard fan of Meguiar's wax and other car-care products. They just seemed to alwys be consistently the best to me.
Recently I bought a bottle of Zymol cleaner/wax, gave it a try and...Wow!
I am very impresed with this stuff. Goes on easy, comes off very easy, leaves no swirls and shine like crazy.
The directions say to sprinkle a tiny bit of water on the freshly waxed and buffed surface, then buff it again with a new dry cloth to get a better shine, and boy does that do the trick!
This "Candy Red" paint looks phenomonal. The pix are from my cell phone and don't do the shine justice. It looks great in person.
I think it may be my new favorite...

I use their leather care products, and I think their wash as well so far I have no complaints I'll probably give the wax a shot after I finish my collinite, which has been a very good wax but I love trying out different products.
I have used Zymol products before. Years ago i was the UPS driver for there warehouse in North Branford,Ct. The owner use to hook me up with free product! He once gave me a sample of there HIGH END wax that was hundreds of dollars to purchase. The instructions said to apply it with your bare hand letting the carnuba melt from your own body temp! It was messy so i used a applicator. Product was amazing. Then they moved they're warehouse and since then i came across Collinite #845 Insulator wax. It easy to apply and remove, the shine is amazing and it's protection lasts longer than any other product i have ever used.
Collinite 845 fan here too. I put a couple of coats on the chrome clad wheels before winter, and this is the first year that the chrome hasn't clouded and corroded a bit from the winter chemicals and abuse.
I like the way the 845 goes on the paint and the results as well. Very durable and shines great.....and you use so little each time!
Not bad for white!

I'm partial to liquid glass. Goes for about 25 dollars a bottle, bottle lasts a long time, brings out the color, depth and shine on my sterling grey, and it seems to last a long time. You can find it at some Advance auto parts stores. You do have to look for it though.
What's nice about Liquid Glass is that they actually recommend waxing out in the sun. They recommend 2 coats and then leaving the vehicle out for 4 hours in sunlight to let it "bake". Goes on smooth and comes off easy. I don't use a buffer so I really like this stuff.
