Default Fan speed control switch

I noticed that my fan speed control switch will not work on the 1 and 2 setting, but only 3 and 4. What could the issue be? Thanks!

Sorry, I had a work call when I started.

Look up in Google "Ford blower resistor".
It's a common issue. Should be able to find info on YouTube. Use the channel FordTechMakuloco -he's got a few videos on replacement.

It could be the resistor, the switch in the EMTC module, or the connector at either point. You'll need to inspect for obvious issues like burned or melted connectors before blindly ordering or swapping parts.
