Default F150vsTundra

I know there are some people here that went from a Tundra to an F150 how would you compare the two? What do you like about one more than the other?

A Tundra is really about 3/4 of the truck the F150 is.....and that is being generous.
There was a video called "The truth about trucks" where a Tundra was driven over an uneven bumpy road that caused the truck to twist.....the Ford's bed barely moved....the Chevy and Dodge moved a bit more......but the Tundra started to shake so badly that the bed actually started to hit the cab. When they showed the driver, the steering wheel was moving all over the place, and he had real difficulty even keeping the truck going in a straight line.....Drive both hooked up to 9,000 pounds on the bumper, and you will NOT consider the Tundra any longer, I can assure you.

My neighbor has a '11 Tundra and he wanted to test drive my '12 F150 Lariat EcoScrew to compare. He says my F150 has a waaay smoother and a softer ride than his Tundra. He also liked the power of the Ecoboost. He said his interior is very plain and outdated compared to my (his words) "super deluxe" interior in the F150. Overall he was very impressed with the F150.

You sure they weren't Tacoma frames? The Tacoma's have had a huge rust problem and they're replacing a bunch of frames under the recall. I haven't heard that the Tundras were included.

Regardless, I just recently bought an 11 F150 after looking at Tundras, Silverados and the Fords. I've always been a GM truck fan, but I think the 09+ Fords are the best truck on the market right now.

Yeah pretty sure it's the tundra. My buddy works next door at Nissan. He said that the frame recall on those trucks is a two man two day job. If I recall flag timers don't get paid for warranty or recall work do they? Poor guys..

From what I have read it is 2000-2003 Tundras recalled for frame replacement. At least Toyota is doing the right thing (way after warranty is up) I have owned 3 Tundras (0-3-07-08) and 3 F150s (05-10-11) and can honestly save I'm not sure what my next truck will be. Both great trucks (altho (I will say all 3 Tundras were totally problem free and all 3 of my F150s were in the shop several times). No doubt the F150 is a better looking truck both inside and out but the Tundra drive train was/is much smoother imho.

The reason I am asking is because my step dad want my truck at the end of the year. Me with the bad habit I have of liking to change trucks I am going to do some research on my next truck. My current F150 has the 6.2 in it so my next one will have EB for sure. But the Tundra is the other option I am throwing around.
