No, my trailer is very steady. Never a hint of sway. So, it never kicked in.

Great review! I am glad the grab handle on the driver's side is gone. Sometimes without paying attention I've hit my head on that thing several times getting into the prior Fords. Yes its dumb to hit it but if you use the steering wheel as a grab point its possible.

Dammit, I need a holiday trailer so I have an excuse to get an EB. Sounds like an awesome engine to haul with. I was happy with my 2010 this summer though. I thought the 5.4L did great, along with sway control and IBC.

Can't even imagine how much better the EB is.

I went on a 1150km(719m) trip about 2/2.5 months ago. i pulled trailer skidster trailer weighing in around 4500lbs. Going up on the trip i was doing 105kph(66mph)with the trailer empty. Arrived at the location of the car we we're picking up, unhooked from the trailer to pull the rolled over car out a snowbank and dragged it onto the trailer. Pulled the trailer back home with an average speed of 120kph(76mph) was getting sick of driving, with an average of 14.5 mpg, with a bad head wind coming back, i thought went really well. I have a 2011 supercab with 6.5' box and 3.55 and is a 4x4.

The 5.4 with a 6 speed is a good towing combination. The 5.4 is a great towing motor.
