Both F150Lifts and Fox have good reviews on here. There's a lot of guys that swear by either and both companies appear to have excellent customer service. I believe that Fox has a vendor on here. I'm sure Alex will chime in at some point. He can answer all of your questions about their set up.

It really depends on how much height you're looking to get out of them. They both ride great but I think the Fox 2.0s and maybe the 2.5s come maxed out from the factory for 2 inches of lift. The only way to soften them up for a smoother ride is to lose front end height. The F150 lifts have a little more room to play with to dial in the ride quality you want without sacrificing too much height. Icons also allow you to do that. At least that's my understanding of it.

another queston with the setup is if i run airbags could i just not add any block height to the rear and just lets bags do adjustment? i had bags on my 07 and empty it could raise rear end quite a bit.

I'm interested in this also. I'm running Firestone air bags and ever since the install I've been considering coilovers. I'm back and forward between Fox, Boss's or Bilsteins. Every time I think I've decide on one I switch my mind.
The bags do seem to lift the rear a bit so I've decided to put the coilovers on first before I consider adding a taller block in the back.

since you are looking at mostly onroad I'd suggest the BOSS. If you were doing a larger amount of fast off roading I'd go fox instead. Like noted above, Alex at F150Lifts sells both and can get you either, and is amazing at support.
regarding the block vs bags, I'd get both. The reason is that blocks will get the static height without undue stress on the bags. if you use the bags alone to get the height you want you will effectively be losing overall height adjustment under load. This is due to a constant pressure needed in order to maintain a specific height at all times, then more pressure required for maintaining height with a load in the bed or hitch. Really the simple solution is just getting rear blocks (i'd get the F150lifts angled raptor blocks) and adding the bags on top to level under load conditions. Of course, it is your decision in the end.
