New rear window
Had a replacement OEM rear window to fix the rear defroster breaking. F150 KR 2013 35,900 miles(lucky is broke now I guess).
The new OEM window seems really cheap. The glass doesn't seem as thick, defrost lines are fewer and thicker, just over all looks cheap? Am I crazy? It's definetly OEM, is says Carlite Ford on it.
I am clearly stuck with this window as with no labor over $700.

Are they covering this under warranty yet?

Is that coverage change something new? Read the thread dedicated on rear window shatters, and 99% of the guys had to pay out of pocket.

Ahh, I guess I misunderstood you when you said it broke.

I'm sure mine would have shattered if I had kept trying to use it. The led would work intermittently and I caught it there.
My service advisor stated that the problem must be coded as defroster/electrical problem, not glass breakage for warranty coverage.
