Magnaflow mufflers are my favorite.

i added a flowmaster 40 series muffler and deleted the resonator. it sounds mean as hell!! little bit of a drone around 1500-1800ish rpm. sounds really nice at cruising speeds.

I have the 6.2 and just deleted the factory muffler and went with a Flowmaster Series 50 HD, 3" in and out.

Low rumble at idle and on the gas, not obnoxious, no drone.

I'm in the same boat. I want to install a new muffler on my 13 5.0 fx2. I'm looking for nothing over the top, but has decent sound when you get on it. No drone is always a plus.

Off to you tube to start looking at clips...

I replaced my stock muffler with a dynomax bullet and added a 4" tip dumped over the rear axle. I have had this set up on both this truck and my previous silverado and I believe it is the last set up I will have. Sounds great and only cost about $80 bucks for the muffler and tip.

I've got true dual flowmaster 40 series, low rumble at idle, not obnoxious when easy on the throttle, loud enough when you hammer it, no drone.

If you ever hear a Roush performance exhaust you will want one.I bought the kit and think it is the best sound out there. It will drive as quiet as you want or it will wake the neighbors...with no loud annoying drone
