Default Error code after installing a Tune.

I installed a tune in my truck last week and drove a few hundred miles and my fuel gauge was acting funny. I had half a tank of fuel and it was saying 3 miles to empty. It had a code it was u0100 Has anyone had this same issue?

I unhooked my battery yesterday for 20 minutes and the fuel gauge worked properly when i turned the truck on. Shortly after that it went back to saying low fuel 27 miles to empty when the truck has half a tank of fuel. Does anyone have any idea what the issue is?

Seams that some of the tuners are not getting it just right. I bought a SCT tuner, new and after installing it I soon noticed that the fan was on all the time.
Called SCT and the told me that a new update was just realeased earlier that day. Updated the tuner and still had the same problem.
Returned it, why? Because I have installed tunes before on other vehicles and feel that this may be a small problem, but what other small piece of code is not right, don't need to find out a couple of months down the road. When, if they get it right ill buy another tuner. Shouldn't have to pay for a custom tune for it to work.
