yeah I know with that combo it will be a beast offroad, but it's getting to the offroad part on snowy slick pavement is the reason I'm still on the fence about it

I wouldn't worry about it. You obviously have some experience with off-road, and the handling characteristics of your truck. The only thing stopping me from doing the same right now is "funding and priorities!"
