hey guys! well i finally upgraded and got myself an iphone4s about time lol
I hooked it up the bluetooth and got that working...
Now tell me what exactly can i do on the screen with this iphone? how can i get things like pandora weather etc on there?
do i have to have a subscription to sirius for this? thanks sorry for the newb questions

Are you sure Pandora isn't already loaded on it??

Slacker was on my Andriod, that's why I ask.

If not, just go to their site and download it.

I downloaded "StormTracker Weather".. ----Nice radar maps.

 

i havent learned everything yet, but with pandora you can stream it through blue tooth from your phone. press the sync button and say bluetooth audio, start pandora on your phone and away you go! i have used google music from my old android and i could change the song with the steering wheel controls this way as well

 

There's a weather app that comes with iOS on the iPhone. I like The Weather Channel App better.

You can get this app and Pandora using the iTunes app on the phone or iTunes on your PC. As mentioned, Pandora or any of the streaming music services will play over Bluetooth if you have that setup on your truck.

Pandora is a free download. Do yourself a favor, if you're going to subscribe to eliminate commercials, do it online. You pay a one-time fee, and it's cheaper by about $1 or $2 per month.

No idea how to sync with Sync, don't have my truck for two more weeks.

 

If I understand your question, you are asking about things appearing on the trucks display from your phone...

None of those items will show up there, they will only appear on the phone.

Incorrect. If you have Pandora, Slacker, etc. you can get the Navigation to display current song, artist, etc. Even thumbs up or thumps down in Pandora right on the Navigation screen. The thing to remember is that you have to have the USB cable hooked up at the same time as Bluetooth streaming.

 

i dont have nav screen but i have the little dumb one up top, when i would stream google music over blue tooth the song and artist would show up on the screen, havent tried pandora

Just use the same cable that came with your iPhone.
