Default Ecoboost problem....

Hello I have a 2011 ecoboost with 20k on it and it just started with a weired noise when I first start it. I opened the hood and started it and sounds like its coming from something on the driverside above the front tire under the hood ??? it happens for like 5to 10 sec and then goes away. only when I first start it.Any ideas?

My 13 does it to, in fact I think they all do. Mine will make the vacuum sound then the pop noise then it will go away. It has done it since the day I got it. Now it does it a louder since I removed the BOV tube, so the bov would blow off to atmosphere.

If it didn't make that sound before but it is making that sound now it might be an issue with the vacuum pump for the brakes.

Where is the BOV hose located?

Mine is a 2013 so it connects from the intercooler to the pipe that comes off the driver side turbo. Its kinda S shaped. The 11 and 12s are totally different. But with it off you can really hear the bov. It turns heads.

Mine is a 13 as well. Any negative for disconnecting?

Maybe unrelated, I noticed a clicking noise coming from behind the driver headlight area... almost like one of the fan blades is just barely tapping the shroud. I have 12, 000 miles on mine and never noticed it before. I changed my headlights and thought it might be a bad electrical part but it seems like it would do it all the time if that were the case.
