My Grandads old ram charger '87. We only had to add a little every 50,000 miles. He sold it at 290,000 miles never been in the shop. I still see it driving around town.

I know this is an old *** thread but my ecoboost seems to use oil.
Right after I change my oil it registers just below the top hole on the dip stick, after about 2,500 miles it registers just above the bottom hole on my dip stick.
The past 3 oil changes its done the same.
No visible oil leaks and coolant looks good.

How much oil do you put in? Have you pulled the plugs and looked at them?

Ya plugs look good, actually just changed them a couple weeks ago too, this was the third time in 45k miles, I'm kinda an over do'er lol
But figure if I'm pulling them to check gap and condition I might as well put new ones back in.

Are they putting the proper weight in? How about the proper amount?

Ya definitely proper amount and weight. It'll register right under the top hole on the dip stick for a while, then eventually it will register just above the bottom hole on dip stick. (around 2k miles this time) This is checking it a dozen+/- times at different times on level ground and always after truck has been sitting for at least an hour but most of the time over night
