eBay seller machparts2025 stiffed me on my Sync 3 upgrade.
machparts2025 on eBay is a thief.
I thought I would update and warn everybody on my experience with the eBay seller machparts2025. The original Sync 3 was defective, so they sent another part, and it was still defective. After weeks of back-and-forth, they sent me a UPS label to send it back.
I sent it back, to their location in California and asked for my refund. They kept promising, never did refund me and now I’m past the eBay return window. They don’t reply to my messages. So I’m out $350. Not the end of the world, but I don’t like getting robbed.
That was my fear of buying something made with Chineseium.
You can see from the videos, the screen would flick all over the place, turning things off and on.
After two months, talking to the vendor on eBay, I’m trying a hard restart, master reset, etc.they sent a new APIM. Same problem as the old one, the screen flicks rapidly and it’s like somebody is tapping the screen to change everything.
They’re sending me a return label and I will try another vendor on eBay.
I wish I had better luck with it.

Do you have their non-forum name? I would publish that as well?
Also, I’ve had success dealing with scammers by finding their forum name on other sites and publicly addressing them to make good or the laundry comes out. They paid up fairly quickly.
Always ship back using Ebay return label. That way if they dont refund you Ebay will step in and get your money. You can still file a complaint with Ebay. They nortoriously back up the buyer in most cases. If you returned it with a tracking number that will solidify your case.
If you paid with Paypal you can file a grievance with them as well.
If you paid with a credit card you can try to get a charge back. Dont give up until you have exhausted your options.
IF all else fails leave them a big fat negative feedback with as much detail as possible. Dont get nasty, just get even.

Sorry for your frustrations. I don't have much advice for your current situation. The only advice I can give is for you moving forward to get it functional, and for others reading this. It seems like the only trustworthy source for a sync upgrade is foursynctech https://foursynctech.com/?srsltid=Af...qiajmm9H2-h1_j
Every review I've seen on facebook gives high praise on the whole transaction. From questions and advice before purchase, updates on shipping/tracking, and after-purchase customer service and troubleshooting. I have never purchased from them, but when I can afford ti, that's who I plan to use
Don't forget there is a feedback window also, I think 60 days is the maximum... on day 61 you can no longer leave feedback. Hopefully it's not too late to leave a negative.
While percentage wise that seller has pretty good reviews, but the few number of bad reviews like yours are the worst case scenario with no intention on the sellers part to correct.
Yeah, the 99.2% feedback rating looks good, until you sort by the negative reviews over the past year - click link below. The bad reviews are BAD. Avoid sellers like this. And, always check the negative reviews on a seller before buying anything... don't just look at the feedback number.
I posted negative feedback before the window closed. That said, I looked for it yesterday and couldn’t find it. Maybe they have a way of hiding it?
I did look at the feedback before I ordered, and the percentage seemed like it was high enough to take the chance.
I’ve never trusted eBay and this was the most expensive item I have bought. Lesson learned.
I don’t have a name to find on the interweb other than the machparts2025.
I filed a claim with my credit card company and have all of the messaging, videos I sent the seller, etc. What I’m afraid of is, eBay is basically going to say screw you, you should’ve done it the XYZ way.
I did buy another one that was supposed to be out of Florida and everything worked except for the fade/balance. It may have been shipped out of Florida, but the support is out of china. I got with them yesterday and they fixed it remotely via Forscan.

Credit card company has the final word. As long as you have tracking to their address there should be no issue to get a credit.
